Character Summary

A stolen Dominion City child engineered by Project Øpus into a living physical-authority field, where fear can make the room itself obey.

Biography

Kiran Taj was taken from Teral Heights under the false promise of medical care and remade inside Black Chamber Wing 3C. Project Øpus reduced his name to K.I.T.H. and conditioned his body to treat resistance as a malfunction. He escaped as both a protected minor and a mass-casualty risk.

Canon history

Backstory

Before Kith became a file, Kiran Taj was a child in Teral Heights who liked lying on the warm kitchen floor because he could feel pressure moving through the building. His mother, Farah, watched predatory gene clinics spread through the neighborhood and taught families to question every emergency consent form placed in front of them.
When Kiran began suffering unexplained bruising, nosebleeds, and small pressure events, Project Øpus manufactured a medical crisis. Forged diagnoses convinced his father that refusing immediate treatment could kill him. Kiran was removed from home during a nighttime transfer and delivered to Black Chamber Wing 3C, a facility that never intended to return him.
Øpus took his blanket, his clothes, and eventually his name. K.I.T.H. meant Kinetic-Integrated Tactical Hybrid, a product label printed on doors, restraints, feeding schedules, and sedation warnings. It was repeated so often that Kiran began answering to it because the program gave him no safer word for himself.
The Paragon Program intensified his AGC expression into Dominion Physiology. His body generated an invisible field that protected him, reinforced his movement, and physically punished resistance. Instead of teaching a child consent or boundaries, handlers taught him that locked doors, refusal, and the word no were obstacles the field was expected to correct.
During a Sovereign Demonstration for military and private buyers, an observer called him an asset. The word connected every restraint, needle, and cold room in Kiran's memory. The reinforced observation glass folded inward, drones fired rounds that flattened before reaching him, and eight security doors opened the wrong way as he walked out of Wing 3C.
Freedom did not make Kith safe. Sirens, crowds, commands, and closing doors still feel like captivity to his nervous system, and the Dominion Field reacts before he can understand what is happening. UMED's Open Door protocol recognizes the terrible truth: every encounter is both a child-rescue operation and a potential urban-collapse event.
Kith now drifts through sealed clinics, flood tunnels, abandoned pediatric wards, and the forgotten edges of Teral Heights. He is living evidence of Project Øpus atrocities, but every institution that wants to protect, classify, study, or recruit him risks repeating the same mistake. Kiran does not need a new owner. He needs to learn that an open hand is not another restraint.

Origin

Kiran's latent AGC expression was intensified with unauthorized biological material and Project Øpus intervention. The result is Dominion Physiology: an organic system that continuously generates an invisible field capable of protecting him, amplifying movement, nullifying resistance, and crushing matter through focused pressure.

Seven marks the highest currently measurable operational expression. Verified values come from Judd Metrology field measurements; provisional values are UMED estimates derived from documented abilities and encounters. Ratings describe capability, not moral alignment. Empty channels mean no defensible estimate has been published, never a zero rating.

Powers

  1. 01Dominion Field projection

Kith's body constantly creates an invisible pressure field. Close to his skin it acts like armor; under stress it expands into the room. The field protects him, strengthens whatever movement he intends, and pushes back against anything his nervous system reads as resistance.

Plain-language summary: Kith's body tells the nearby physical world to yield.
  2. 02Pressure Sight

By concentrating on something he can see, Kith focuses the Dominion Field until the target's structure collapses. A door caves inward, a gun folds in its owner's hand, or armor compresses around the person inside. It is invisible pressure, not heat or a laser beam.

  3. 03Resistance nullification

Bullets flatten, blades stop, restraints break, and physical attackers can injure themselves before touching him. The effect is strongest near Kith and depends on the field remaining synchronized with his nervous system.

  4. 04Field-assisted flight

Kith flies by making gravity less important than his immediate direction of movement. He usually hovers upright and silent; when frightened, he can launch across a short distance like a human impact event. He is not a sustained long-range speedster.

  5. 05Impact amplification

When Kith pushes, grabs, jumps, or strikes, the field reinforces the action before his muscles finish it. His fist is not naturally strong enough to break steel; the field makes the steel participate in being broken.

  6. 06Spatial pressure awareness

The field reads nearby vibration, footsteps, breath, heart rate, weapon movement, and muscular tension. This gives Kith near-preemptive awareness in close quarters, but crowded or chaotic spaces can overwhelm him with too much information.

  7. 07Field Eruption

When Kith feels trapped, restrained, or unable to escape, the field expands violently. It may throw people away, crush objects inward, pin bodies in place, or tear apart the surrounding architecture. Kith does not consciously choose the pattern.

UMED considers prevention and de-escalation more reliable than direct containment.

Equipment

  1. 01No carried weaponry

Kith carries no gun, blade, armor, or tactical device. Project Øpus tried control harnesses, stabilizer bands, and training weapons; the Dominion Field made each system fail or become physically irrelevant.

Weaknesses

  1. 01Sensory overload

Crowds, sirens, shouting, gunfire, and mass panic flood Kith's pressure awareness. Too many signals can make the field react defensively before he understands where the threat is.

  2. 02Trauma-linked command triggers

Locked doors, forced contact, restraint hardware, and words associated with Øpus conditioning can trigger immediate escalation. The word no is especially dangerous when delivered as a command or threat.

  3. 03Human body beneath the field

Kith is biologically a vulnerable child. If the field is disrupted, dampened, exhausted, or separated from his nervous system, he can be sedated, injured, or killed.

  4. 04Emotional underdevelopment

Kiran was denied the ordinary relationships that teach consent, boundaries, and trust. He can interpret disagreement as danger and possession as protection, which makes him vulnerable to both panic and manipulation.

  5. 05Open exits reduce escalation

Kith is haunted by containment. A clear, unlocked path away from conflict can calm him, while a sealed room makes every other intervention more dangerous.
