Biography

Pyrocrat leads Kijani and the Sons of the Flame with a vision built from protection, technological independence, and punitive fire. To supporters he is the leader who rebuilt what the world abandoned; to opponents he is a trauma-forged sovereign who made dissent combustible.

Canon history

Backstory

Kojo was raised near Kijani by nurse Nia Mwangi and historian Jengo Mwangi. His younger sister Amara shared the traditions and stories that made home feel larger than the political tensions surrounding it.
As those tensions grew, Kojo joined the Unity Front and tried to build peace through dialogue. The genocide proved how little protection good intentions offered. His parents were killed helping others, Amara disappeared, and heat began answering the grief his body could no longer contain.
Kojo led survivors across the border and returned to the remains of Kijani under Elder Omari's guidance. The Ignis Flow ritual did not create his AGC; it awakened, amplified, and spiritually bound the fire already present. Omari warned that the Flow required precision and purpose because rage could feed it faster than a human conscience could direct it.
He founded the Sons of the Flame as both revolutionary force and rebuilding movement. Engineers such as Aisha N'dour combined Ignis energy with Kijani technology, turning the city into a symbol of resistance and making Kojo its sovereign leader.
Pyrocrat's current rule is the moral consequence of survival. He protects Kijani from powers that ignored its genocide and searches for Amara, but increasingly treats opposition as proof of corruption. Aisha remains the voice most capable of separating justice from the need to make the world feel his pain.

Origin

Extreme trauma first awakened Kojo's pyrokinetic AGC during the destruction of his village. Elder Omari later guided him through an Ignis Flow ritual that expanded the fire into a permanent mystical and physiological bond.
