Biography

Bianca is the estranged daughter of Volition, Dominion City's tyrant of control. She moves through the Undercroft District, illegal performance spaces, and Power Exchange hideouts, changing the emotional temperature of a room until buried feeling becomes physical consequence.

Backstory

Bianca Whitlock was born into a house where emotion was treated as contamination. Her father, Ezekiel Whitlock, had already built Volition around the belief that disciplined will had the right to author reality. He did not want a daughter as much as he wanted continuity, an heir who would prove control could pass cleanly through blood.
Bianca's infancy contradicted him. Caretakers near her crying became irrationally angry, her joy made adults reckless, and her fear could turn an entire hallway cold. The power was not a clean command. It spread through whatever people already carried and made the body respond as if amplified feeling were undeniable fact.
Ezekiel answered with correction: stillness drills, psychic dampening, sensory deprivation, reward disguised as evaluation, and punishment disguised as training. During one confinement session, Bianca's despair reached through the chamber and collapsed the people monitoring her. She understood before her father did that her emotions were not contained inside her. They were doors.
At sixteen, Bianca escaped into Dominion City and found the Power Exchange. Its handlers praised the volatility her father had called defective. They gave her targets, stages, and the appearance of freedom, using her to break negotiations, destabilize fighters, and turn crowds into controllable market events.
Graham Keller became the first handler who seemed to accept her rather than suppress her. He encouraged every high, isolated every crash, and made usefulness feel like intimacy. Bianca eventually discovered his real project: chemically flatten her emotional depth while preserving the outward mechanics of her power. Dysmoria without Bianca.
The betrayal triggered her first true outbreak. Guards laughed while sobbing, executives confessed into broken terminals, buyers tore apart their own contracts, and the facility became an emotional biohazard. Keller escaped. Bianca fled into the Undercroft carrying the knowledge that praise could build a cage as efficiently as punishment.
Power Exchange operatives had called her Brat when she refused instructions. Bianca kept the insult because it made powerful people underestimate her. UMED called the phenomenon Dysmoria after the outbreak. Now she sabotages systems that resemble her father's doctrine or Keller's false acceptance, while her connection to Jake Judd keeps pulling her toward a kind of trust she is not yet sure she can survive.
