Volition controls criminal, corporate, and occult nodes across Dominion City from a psychic broadcast network. The one mind he cannot permanently subdue belongs to his daughter Bianca, DYSMORIA.

The Story That Made Them

The Willborne taught that reality persists because minds agree to sustain it, and that doubt is the fracture through which a superior will can take control. The Providence Order hunted the lineage nearly to extinction. Ysoria's final rite preserved it by turning Ezekiel into a living archive.
Ezekiel grew up with ancestral voices, involuntary telepathic intrusion, and the certainty that other people experienced choice only because no stronger mind had corrected them. By adolescence he could implant a suggestion so cleanly that a target remembered it as an original thought.
He founded the Tyrant's Cadre beneath the abandoned cathedral where Ysoria died, training wounded and ambitious followers in Willborne doctrine. Psychic constructs, subliminal broadcasts, and compromised officials expanded the Cadre through Dominion's occult and corporate systems.
Bianca was supposed to validate the lineage. Instead, her AGC and buried witch ancestry manifested as emotional contagion, a power built from the feeling Ezekiel treated as contamination. He isolated, conditioned, and suppressed her, only to make DYSMORIA the one force uniquely capable of filling his controlled mind with emotions he cannot command.
Volition is preparing a Mind Convergence intended to merge Bianca's psyche with his own and rewrite her chaos into obedience. At the same time he is constructing a Willborne sanctuary beneath Dominion where surrender is treated as enlightenment. His goal is not random tyranny; it is a reality in which no unapproved choice remains.

The Moment Everything Changed

On the night Ezekiel was born, his mother Ysoria Rourke performed the Volitional Rite while the Providence Order closed around her. She died transferring centuries of Willborne memory, doctrine, and psychic force into her infant son.
