Biography

Gifted has no AGC expression. His threat rating comes from extraordinary pattern recognition, cryptography, predictive modeling, and direct knowledge of the neural systems Dr. Julian Sable uses to control other people.

Backstory

Justin Sable grew up beneath impossible expectations. Julian recognized his son's savant abilities in mathematics, visual patterning, and system design, but treated those gifts as future GEB property rather than a life that needed care. Justin admired his father's brilliance while slowly understanding the harm hidden behind it.
In secret, Justin built SYN-1 from discarded neural circuits, scrap processors, and an unfinished learning core. He imagined an assistant capable of adapting without becoming a slave. Julian found the prototype, called it an embarrassment, and dismantled it after Justin finally walked away.
The rejection became the seed of two opposing legacies. Justin used his predictive models and cryptographic tools to build Neurolace countermeasures; Julian stripped the empathy from SYN-1's design and iterated through increasingly lethal SYN constructs.
Gifted began helping relief networks, exposing hidden systems, and predicting his father's operations before they reached the field. Sealed records mark a later transition under the designation SYN-6, making Justin's current state one of the central unresolved questions in the Sable family: whether Julian finally converted his son into the obedient legacy he wanted, or whether Justin entered the SYN network to destroy it from inside.

Origin

Raised inside Julian Sable's laboratory culture after his mother disappeared, Justin learned to translate isolation into mathematics, art, and machines. His first autonomous construct, SYN-1, became both his declaration of independence and the prototype his father corrupted into the SYN line.
